I just installed windows 2k, plus service pack 2. It's a different version of win2k than I used last time, because I've noticed a few things to be different. The one thing that's bothering me is that mIRC is getting my subnet mask, instead of my ip, when I try to connect to a server. The subnet mask is 255.255.255.255, and it's a real problem for me. I can't get my op/voice status in any channel with this ip, because someone could easily produce it, and pretend they're me. How can I stop irc from using that ip?
