Basically my Windows Installer Service is just plain screwed up.
I have no idea what I did to it, just booted up my computer and MS Office gave me some setup error. So, I thought okay I will just re-install office.
But, no, Windows would have none of that and gave me some message about the Installer Service not being allowed either because I was in Safe Mode or the Installer was screwed.
I have no idea on how to get the installer service back running. I opened up Services in Administrative Tools. When trying to start it from there, I get a message about not starting the windows installer on the local computer, Error 5 Access is denied.
Any ideas about this?
