Win2K Installation

I am trying to install Win2K on my other hd. I have Me running now. I just copied the files over and tried to install 2K, but it says that my C drive is corrupted and cannot be repaired. I ran scan disk and defrag but that didn't help.

But now I have a new problem. I wanted to delete the files that the setup cd copied and reinstall them. (Because I chagned /WINNT to D:/WINNT when I first installed it, and I have a feeling that's not right) The only problem is that when I cancel the 'do you want to upgrade' feature and click on install it gives me an error now. Cannot find file c:/windows/upgradlls/win95upgrd.dll/win95upgrd/win95upgrd.dll (it's something like that). Then it gives me another screen saying that this copy will only upgrade and then it exits. My question is firstly what do I do? Secondly, why in the heck is it trying to find a folder under win95upgrd.dll?
2K professional.

I would appreciate your help.
thanks

Do you have an Upgrade CD or a New Install CD??? If its an upgrade CD you can't just copy your Old OS to the other drive and expect to use the upgrade CD on it.

Also what would you ultimately like to do? Run Win98 on drive C and Win 2K on drive D (two OS's on your system)? Or do you just want upgrade from Win98 to Win2K (one OS on your system)?
