Win2k installation problems

Just took out a faulty motherboard out and I am installing Win2k on a new 60g Maxtor. For some reason though when I boot from cd it will install the things needed for installation but then pause at "setup is starting windows 2000". I left it on for bout' 20 minutes but nothing happened. Does anyone have a clue what's up with my installation?

check your bios for the boot up order. i had the same problem (boot from cd loop). i used a win98 boot disk to load cd drivers, ran setup(fat32 partion), reboot w/cd out. put the cd back in after the setup install asked for it.

my boot order is floppy, hd1 and cd.
