Win2k install with Geforce4 Ti4200 possible?

...or is this just like XP where it won't work at all? I tried to install 2k last night and it got halfway through before I got a black screen. This is VERY annoying and I still don't understand why it happens. I had to jump through hoops to get XP installed and now I don't have a spare video card to do that again. Anyone?
