Win2k Install Problems

This is driving me nuts.I keep getting various errors before the final setup.For example;

stop:c0000221 (Bad Image Checksum)

Image olesvr32.dll is possibly corrupt header checksum does not match the computed checksum

Also I got a null.sys error (c000026c & 0xc000012f were also mentioned in the same error message) during another attempted install.

Ive tried a clean, upgrade, and dual boot install, nothing works. What really bugs me is that I tried to install it on my old 300a,bh6 system and it went without a hitch. The wife really likes it. :|

550e@733 -tried it at default
p3v4x -tried numerous different settings
geforce2gts
320ram -tried various timings
20gig maxtor
sblive

Any quick solutions?Suggestions?

I've installed win2k a bunch of times and I still don't understand each error, so could you give me some more info?
1. How are you installing? HD, CD, win2k floppies etc.
2. Have you reset your BIOS and installed non OC (probably wont make a diff)
3. Have you tried only installing with your video card?
4. When does the error occur?
If nothing else, reset and upgrade your bios(probably not the problem). Install with only your video card in. Install from your HD with thw win2k boot disks. Yes, it seems silly to run four floppies, but they are the most tested method. You can also use a win98 boot, but you need smart drive or the install takes forever. BTW checksum errors usually mean that things have changed from a prvious save. By things, I mean system settings. I have only seen this error in BIOS and not OS related problems. Best of luck and get back to me.
As Always,
D
