Booting from a floppy is easy. Similar to Win98, you must(should) copy the i386 folder to your HD. I do this on a small partition at the end of my HD. Then it's simply a matter of typing setup in your i386 dir(on HD). Make sure your DOS bootdisk has smartdrive on it. You can search for the file and help on setting it up here at Anandtech. If your DOS bootdisk does not have Smartdive, it will take many times longer to install than using those silly Win2k bootdisks. Hope this helps.

inside the i386 folder there is a winnt32.exe and a winnt.exe ... the winnt.exe is the dos installer.

beware this wont work if your drive is already formatted NTFS, since you cant read it from dos.

also, do make sure you have smartdrive (smartdrv.exe) on the floppy, and run it before starting the install, or it will take forever.
