Win2k/IE wont redirect links?

its a tussel just to get here, i was encoding a movie, went to bed, woke up, kicked the puter on to check my mail, right click on my new mail as i always have / open in new window=nothing but a blank window popped up? went to eGay same thing, try to veiw several items, right click open in new window/ blank white window.. stop by here from my favorites, go to click on community or forum, nothing but a blank white box? like it wont even see the hyperlinks if they redirect? i had to go into history to get here.. also it come up with anand.com/index when i right click properties for the communities link on main page.. i ran a sys file check, still the same. checked all my settings nothing altered.. "pulling hairs" before i ghost backward..
can i uninstall IE from win2k & re install it?
any help much appreciated..
