how does one go about removing permanently a hidden share? i've got a strange share showing up as O$ mapped to the O:\ drive, but i have no O: drive, and it's causing my system to freeze up for a couple seconds every minute or so... especially annoying is when i try to drop a file from explorer into photoshop, or into winzip, and the system just freezes up for a few seconds. i logged in as admin (local and global) and removed the fileshare to that drive, but it says the next time the server service is restarted it will reappear. what to do?

for anyone interested:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\Shares\
select the share in question and delete it..
also check the \Security\ subfolder for any security restrictions to the share you want to remove...
