Im hoping someones knows how to resolve this.:) I had WIN98SE on my Partition C , and have WIN2000 on Partition D . I needed to reinstall my WIN98SE on my Partition C so I formatted C: and reinstalled 98SE and LOST my option to chose at start up which OS to use. Does anyone know how to get it back?;) If so Please LMK.:D

What you did was delete the boot log for your system, so your computer doesnt know windows 2000 is there. What you need to do is one of two things
1. reinstall windows 2000
2. figure out how to edit the boot log
I dont know how to do the latter, gl.

Repair install will fix it. Manual repair, inspect boot files option, will fix it. Running Recovery Console and running "fixboot" will fix it.

Insert your Win2K CD and boot off of it. Choose the repair often and follow obenton's instructions. Good luck.
