Win2k HDD on a different Mobo

I tried to put togethe anthoer system. I took the hdd from MSI BX Master and tried running it on Abit KT7A Raid. I get an error message that I shold put in a system disk. How do I get around this to get the system up and running.
 
I had the same problem when trying to boot W2K on a different board and different processor.
No boot. Just a blue screen with an error message. I gave up imeadiatly.
 
Drive letter should come up the same. Also, do you need to preinistall a drive for the new hard drive connection?
