I'm working on this Dell Dimension 2100 with Windows 2K...it's got an integrated card, and in the BIOS the only option to "turn it off" is "PCI" or "Onboard". So i popped in a GeForce 4 MX 420 PCI card, set the BIOS to "PCI" and everything loads ok, until it gets to the "starting Win2k" screen, then the little cloud/line thing stops moving and the comp just freezes. I unplugged the 56k and the sound card(the only other devices in there) and gave it another shot, no dice. So i tried a Radeon 7000 PCI card and the exact same thing happened, so it's not the card...Does anybody have any suggestions on how to make it go? Thanks 🙂

EDIT: i just found out that Dell Dimension 2100's come with a 145W PS and the Radeon 7000 says it requires a 300W PS, that's probably what's causing this problem huh? I can't actually put this theory to test until later Monday, so any advice up until then is greatly appreciated.
