Win2k file system

a friend of mine and I were talking about Win2k and Win9x. He said that once you convert to NTFS, you cannot convert your harddrive back to the win9x file system. Is this true?

Yeah once you convert to ntfs you can't convert back to fat. Well unless you delete the partition and reformat it fat.

I believe Partition Magic will allow you to convert between fat/fat32/ntfs without losing data as well.

Partition Magic 6 will convert Fat32 to NTFS and back. BTW, it will take a LOOOOONG time for this conversion to take place. Get your favorite movie and some popcorn 🙂 .
