Win2K/FAT32 filesize limit

What is the filesize limit for a file on a Win2K FAT32 partition? I was creating a 6GB VOB file and the ripper stopped midway and wouldn't proceed further. I discovered that the VOB file created up to that point was 3.9999GB in size. I thought Win2K could handle files larger than 4GB, so is this limit dictated by FAT32? If I want to create a 6GB file I have to do so on one of my NTFS5 partitions, correct?

You are correct, the limitation exists in the FAT32 file system. You would have to use an NTFS partition.
