WIN2K, Dual cpu's should I have ACPI?

If your hardware's compatible, yes. Among others, ACPI has the virtue of running your dual processors cooler. To change, you must do a repair install. Don't attempt changing in Control Panel - if you do, w2k won't boot.

Thank you, The BIOS had the ACPI disabled. So I change it in the control panel and messed it all up. I just install the os, so I didn't mine doing it again.
Now it is all set.

Changing to ACPI HAL in the Control Panel has messed up a lot of people. The repair install fixes it, but sometimes takes awhile to figure out what caused the problem.
