I have the latest drivers installed for my voodoo5. Driver date 11-09-2000. I also downloaded the 3dfx_oc.reg file. I added the file to my registry and restarted mycomputer. But, i still don' have an overclocking tab in the advanced display properties window.

Do i need a special registry file for windows 2000? Or do the windows 2000 drivers not support the overclocking?

Thanks
Blake

You should have downloaded a little program which you simply run and it enables overclocking. Search 3dfx's help for "overclocking" and you'll find it.

"34. Can you overclock Voodoo4 or Voodoo5?

Any component that has a clock, can be overclocked. However, with Voodoo4 and Voodoo5, the performance is so superior that there is no need to overclock. We guarantee stability at the shipped clock rate.

That is what i found on the 3dfx site. Searching google for how to overclock i've found a registry file that is supposed to unhide the overclocking features.

programs>3dfx tools>weblinks>3dfx overclocking
