Win2k driver problems (what else is new)

Hello all, after browsing for a while, this is my first post.

And what better to start off with then a driver problem for win2k.

I have the driver on a disk, as well as the HD, and no matter what I do, it wont recognize the driver.
When i go through the hardware wizard, i specify the right location where the driver is located, but it won't be recognized. 😕

The sound card is a Crystal CS4280 (or something similar, cant remember exact name) Sound blaster Pro, and it is built in to the motherboard (i know :disgust: )

How should i go about fixing this problem?

Thanks.

Hi-
Welcome to Anandtech..
what format is the driver in..is it a .exe or .zip? you might have to 'unpack' it to install it.

Youu might be able to try the motherboard makers site and see if they have any special steps to instaling them..or maybe an updated driver even.
Good luck!
