One thing to check is that you have the device drivers for the ATA-100 channel properly loaded.

I installed Windows Millenium on my ata100 HD but it didn't install the controller properly in de device manager. But the main thing is Win me detect my ata100 properly during the installation wich win2k didn't. Is this a ata100 controller bios issue?

Did you provide and drivers to Win2K for your ATA100 controller. I'm thinking that you'll have to do just that.

Thank you for your help guys. I can't enter win2k setup because i can't see my ata100 H during setup and Paldo i think you have a ata66 controller (Win2k sees my ata66 HD too). But i also have a ata100 controller (with a ata100 HD) and that win2k can't see. Any advise?

DRIVERS!!! DRIVERS!!! Put the ATA100 controller's drivers on a floppy. During the boot up from the Win2K CD, you have the opportunity to supply drivers for such things as HD controllers.
