win2k disk management won't let me delete what it says is the system partition

any ideas? I've actually got two partitions that are labeled system-two drives with the os crashed but win2k still insists on listing them as "offline" and missing.

Well, now I want to get rid of the two phantom partitions but I can't...

any ideas on how?

Thanks,

BB

Low level format of the entire drive will do the trick. Essentially resets the drive to all zeros. This will remove any partitions.
