Go to the Start | Run dialog. Type in "themes", and hit the Enter key. It doesn't come with any themes, though. You'll have to download some or make some up. You might also be interested in Desktop Architect, a freeware themes utility, available from here. It adds a few nice features like transparent icon backgrounds. It's obviously made primarily for Win9X, but works fine for NT and W2K, too. I don't use the stuff, but helped a friend set up some office PCs for her business so that they all reflected her "corporate color preferences". Sheesh! Does anyone wonder what it is that makes perfectly sane people turn into interior decorators when they sit in front of a GUI??? Okay, I admit it, I play with themes, too!

:D

Oh, neat! An AMD theme, huh? Is it like pictures of crashes and disasters and stuff like that???

:p

Have fun!

Tee Hee!

Nice theme. And I notice that they recommend use of Desktop Architect! I guess we "Intel fans" aren't too far out of the loop! :D

But, actually, I was a RISC station guy until November of last year. I have used Intel notebooks running various OSes for a while, but I'm not much on brand loyalty. My motto is whatever floats your boat! And, now that I'm retired, my pond has to be smaller, so I gravitated to x86 for all of my work. Haven't tried an AMD yet, but will probably get around to it at some point.

Enjoy!

Jim

the best part of the theme is the screensaver. it has a flash animation with the word performance in all sorts of languages come up once "athlon" comes on, and the word durability in all sorts of languages once "duron" comes up. well, i'm having a bunch of problems stting up my system right now with my crappy ram and with my diamond mx300, and the system freezes occaisionally. durability was onscreen when the system froze, so when i came back to my computer, that's what i saw frozen on the screen as i had to hard reboot. funny huh?

Yeah, computing is filled with irony that way. Hope you have fun sorting it out. Getting a new system up and running can be more satisfying than a good adventure game! Also, more infuriating.
