win2k crashing everyday since i added new video card

pure lock up, gotta manual power it off...
after it starts back up, my internet history is gone - cookies are still there, but history is gone

never had the problem until i ditched the old gateway video card and put in a voodoo3

any ideas???
 
How did you add the Voodoo3? Did you switch back to VGA mode
before pulling the old card and installing the new card (and drivers)?
 
Same here... heard of a hardware called a "Hammer".... Somehow Win2k or the video card has a problem...... hate ATI cards when they don't work
