Win2K Clustering

err

Hi,

I would like to try setup clustering with Win2K advanced server. Anyone has experience with this? I have a few questions to ask:

1. What is the hardware that you use for PC-compatible box? Let me know what SCSI adapter and disk drive you would recommend.
2. I understand that you need 2 network card. Will cheaper NIC like netgear/smc work? Or does it have to be the higher end 3com or intel stuffs?
3. Would you recommend setting Network load balancer and the first node of cluster on the same box ? why ?

These are the questions that I need to know. The SCSI adapter that I see and interested in on MS hcl is Adaptec AHA-2944UW. Any good stories with this?

Thanks for any comments.

Appreciate it.
