Win2k cant find drivers on HD even though they are there.

Ok, here is the problem, whenver i install any kind of hardware that uses drivers from the win2k cd-rom, i get a promt to insert the cd even though they are already on the hard drive. I can always point the thing in the direction of the drivers on the disk, but it should be finding them automatically. They promt is annoying. How can i get rid of that stupid promt?
