Win2k Bootup Screen

For some reason, the graphic bootup progress screen in win2k pro doesn't show.. is just stays at the black and white ascii progress bar at bottom until the gui loads. Any way to fix it so that it shows?

if the boot.ini file has this statement in it (/noguiboot) the splash screen will not show.

thanks. that also answered one of my unmentioned questions - how do i change the order of OS's listed and their name =)
