Win2k bootup problem...

I just did a clean install of Windows 2000 on a brand new harddrive. But when I boot up, it goes to the dual-boot screen, giving me the option to boot up Windows 2000 Professional or an Unidentified operating system on C: (the same harddrive that win2k is installed on). I don't really care if Windows thinks there is another operating system there, but is there a way to disable the irritating dual-boot screen and boot up Windows 2000 automatically?
Thanks.

rightclick on your MY COMPUTER icon.. go to properties.. go to the ADVANCED tab.. click STARTUP AND RECOVERY..

here you will see the options it gives you.. change the time down to just a couple seconds

this will keep that screen from staying up as long

if you want to change what the other option is.. you can open up your boot.ini file and rename it.. mine say 1. Windows 2000 Pro 2. Windows 3.11 😀
of course you probably could go ahead and just remove the second option.. but its just as much fun to play with it
