Win2k boot up problems

I installed Win2k on my Abit KT7-RAID board with 900 MHz T'Bird and 4x 8.4 GB drives striped for 32 GBs. On boot up I keep getting errors. It verys between 3 or 4 different errors. The errors only happen on "cold" starts (been off for 10+ minutes) they do not happen on warm boots. I have not yet installed Sp1. I can boot to the install CD and run repair but that is a very very anoying thing to have to do very day.

Things I have tried:
Using FAT32 instead of NTFS - does not seem to work any better.
Making a Ghost image - only works on the first "cold" boot.
Running chkdsk from the recovery console - did not find any errors.

I need suggestions, please!!
