Win2k boot menu: How to change 30 sec. to 5 sec.?

Just installed Win2k Pro on an ME system and now have multiboot. Someone said I can change the default 30 sec. countdown to the default OS to any figure. How do I do it? Isn't it an INI file? Can't find it. Thanks.

Or the really easy way.... Right click on My Computer in Windows 2000. Select properties. Select the Advanced tab and then the Startup and Recovery box at the bottom. Choose the OS you want in the dropdown box and then select the time. Make sure you don't choose 0 or you cant change your OS until you change this setting again.

I actually like this the best. Funny thing is I remember hearing about C:\boot.ini, but couldn't find it. It's because I still had Win2k's Windows Explorer to not show hidden files. I removed that restriction and could see it and edited it. Actually, I set it to 3 seconds. I like the GUI method of doing it better, though... especially for my brother, whose machine it is. Now, if I could only figure out how to get both OSs to use the same Outlook Express data... I copied it from the ME to the Win2k's OE data, and that's fine. But I'd like to have them always synchronized from this point forward. I don't know if it's doable. Maybe if I go in the ME registry and point the location to the appropriate FAT32 folder in the Win2k partition.
