silly question, but how can you create a boot up disk for win2k? is it possible? i know you can create one in win98 or winme. i'm installing win2k into a new computer and i've only previously used win98. thanks.
If your computer doesn't allow you to boot from CD, you can create the 4 floppies needed to start the 2K install by using makeboot (from DOS) or makebt32 (from within Windows) in the bootdisk folder or download the images for those disks from bootdisk.com.
You could also use a standard 98 boot floppy and run i386\winnt.exe on the 2k cd to start the install.
