Win2k Aureal Vortex2 8830 drivers?

I have a slight problem. The Aureal Vortex driver that comes with Windows 2000, as you might know, doesn't actually work with the AU8830 (Vortex2) chipset based boards, and now that Aureal no longer exists there is nowhere to download the AU8830 driver for Win2k, since their website was the only place that had this driver. If anyone has or knows where I can get this driver, please let me know, I need it very badly since I currently have NO SOUND in Windows 2000.

OK I downloaded the drivers, I followed the exact instructions it gave to remove the existing Win2k "drivers", and then I installed the actual Aureal drivers, but still no mojo. I have no sound.

Hmm...it should (at most times) work. Try a couple of times...if it doesn't work, just get a $10 sound card.
