I sometimes have to hop between OS and might not go to the other for days or longer. Is there a way to set up one "folder" for bookmarks that both browsers can use? This question is posed to email also. C drive is partitioned with an OS on each and i do have a second HDD slaved.
thankyou

yes...use tweakME to change the location of the favorites/address book folder in ME to where they are stored in the win2k profile...then choose the location where to save email to in outlook/OE

DOn't know about tweak, but I use Eudora both in WinME and 2000. The program itself was originally set up in Windows 98 a few formats ago. It looks like Eudora doesn't seem to care about the registry at all, so as long as you run the .exe it seems fine.

I suspect OE or outlook could operate the same way, but I wouldn't know for sure.

If you can't find the TweakME then just go to the OS that has the favorites folder, and export the favorites folder to a location you can easily find. Then reboot into the other OS, in IE, import favorites from the location at which you saved the favorites folder. This method is not as good as using TweakMe as you will still use two separate folders and if one of the folders change you would have to export & import the changed folder again.

You can also use TweakUI from MS at TweakUI.
Log on to Win2k & load TweakUI from the Control panel. In the "MY COMPUTER" Tab change the default folder for your favorites & my documents / my pictures refering to respective folders on your C:\ drive.

For the Email Go to Oullook Express after setting up your pop server details Then > TOOLS > OPTIONS > MAINTENENCE. Change to store folder form d: to c:

D:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{xxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxx}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

To >>

c:\Windows\Application Data\Identities\{{yyyyyyyy-yyyy-yyyy-yyyy-yyyyyyyy}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
