Win2K and Web Cams

Hi

I am unable to get Win2K to recongnise my Logitech QuickCam Pro. I couldn't get the drivers to install at all. I tried installing drivers normally through the CD installation program, and I tried doing it through device manager in W2K.

Once I did get it to install but upon a reboot it would occassionally give a BSOD after entering logging into W2K.

I tried newest drivers from Logitech but still no good. It worked flawlessly on W98SE.

Anyone has got their QuickCam Pro to work properly under W2K??

Thanx

My intel cam works.. but i dont think thats any help to you. See if you have any conflicts with your other hardware.

MulLa,
I don't think that the QuickCam Pro is supported under Win2000 yet. Logitech does plan on releasing the QuickCam software that will support all of their QuickCam products but that software is not available as of this writing. There are only two QuickCam products that will work in Win2000 using Win2000's internal drivers.
