win2k and mr. flash 5-in-1 driver problem

So I bought this spiffy "5-in-1" usb card reader from newegg - supports cf, sm, & other formats. problem is win2k doesn't seem to recognize it - i plug it in, the power light on the reader comes on, but no new device in win2k. any idea what the hell i'm supposed to do to enable this sucker?
