Win2K and LAN Access

I have win2k and did not set any LAN access passwords. On my school network, when someone goes to access my comp, they get this
Resource username\PC$ and then it asks for a password. no password of mine works at all. How do i fix this? it does not do it with win9x.

It's kind of a weird error for Win9x trying to access Win2k systems. The one way I know how to get around that is to log onto the Win9x system with the administrator user name. either that, you can add users to your win2k system for access to your computer.

They only other way that I know of accessing the win2k system is if you manually map the drives to the system. These are the things that worked for me....hope they gave you an idea.
