here's my problem
Had IE 5.01 working with dsl but now using normal dialup
When I start IE, I get a DNS error. If I enter an IP address (ex. 208.125.32.123) IE will work but anything like www.yahoo.com will not.
But if I click on my computer and enter a webaddress there, IE will go to the correct site and that windows will continue to work. I can't upgrade to IE 5.5 cause it crashes. AOL's internet browser which is IE 5.01 works without any problems. I've tried uninstalling my network card, assigning DNS server address to my dial up connections.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA
