Just curious if anyone has come across this when booting up. After going through the normal BIOS settings, and just before the black and white screen with the windows 2000 status bar it says at the top of the screen Disk I/O Status Error: 00008001. I might be a 0 or two off, it flashes by pretty quick and I couldn't count.

Now, I have had this thing overclocked, underclocked, and everything inbetween, and wondering if I killed something, or messed something up? I would assume its talking about my HD also. Just for the specs, incase that matters...

T-bird 900 (currently at 900)
kt7-RAID
30 gig maxtor HD (currently on ATA66 IDE)
256 megs of micron ram
GeForce2 GTS 64mb card
and just your usual generic floppy, SB Live, CD burner.. etc

now, I never had this error at first, but I noticed it after using another HD in my machine for backup purposes, and overclocking, and stuff like that, I can't pinpoint exactally when I first saw it because I hardly ever watch my system boot up, it just recently caught my attention.

I haven't noticed any system instability or problems either, just that weird error. I'll prolly reinstall anyway, but just curious if this is a known error or something only I could manage to cook up :)

Thanks!
