Win2k and HP Inkjet -double side printing?

Switched to Win2k which came with HP's new drivers for the HP 820cse inkjet printer. Can't set up the printer to print on both sides. Options are not available for this setup.
Does anyone know if I can use other previous drivers to make this work or why did this go away in Win2k's version.

Set up sucks on installing devices in Win2k.
Installing my Hp scanner took several reinstalls. So was the sound driver. Sony's abCD drag/drop to CD also went away.
Even so, much better than 98.

Fineprint allows double-sided, 1,2,4, or 8 pages (reduced type size) squeezed onto one page.http://www.fineprint.com. Just set it as "default printer". You can switch back to the native drivers whenever you want, by right clicking and selecting "set as default printer".

Thanks vailr,
I downloaded it a few minutes ago. $39. This is why people will bootleg Microsoft's products without shame. Charge $200 for Win2Pro which comes incomplete.
Since this third party was able to get this printer to function, it is obvious that the HP driver that came with Win2k has a bug in that it doesn't allow the setting on the HP printer to be used. The option for 2sided printing cannot be enabled for some reason.

I've had problems with w2k and a hp3300c scanner. Personally, I direct my frustration regarding driver support for w2k to the hardware manufacturer. W2K is a major OS and hp has been dragging their feet for quite some time now. Get in the game - hp - successfully selling hardware is more than just taking money! I'll never buy hp again! Whew, I feel much better now.

Ah Ha! We learned a valuable lesson about switching to Win2K thinking it is the greatest OS.
Yes there may be drivers for your hardware but are they as complete as the Win98 drivers.
A case in point is the soundblaster drivers are great for Win98 but install the Win2K drivers for the card and all you get is a five slider EQ panel to control the volume..what a disappointment!
Sauza...HP had originally stated that they would NOT provide drivers for the 3300 and 4200 (The one that I had)for Win2K. After about a month (This was back in May) they retracted their statement on the web site and promised that drivers for those scanners would be provided in EARLY SPRING! I don't think they have any yet, but of course I stopped looking months ago since I got rid of that scanner.

Don't know if this is relevant, but on my HP 812C, the two-sided printing options work with the parallel port driver, but not on the USB port - they are grayed out when using the USB driver.
