Most people on these forums will recommend Win98SE over WinME for gaming.

It's your choice. I am running Win2k with Win98SE. Many people here prefer Win2K for everything. You will need more RAM for Win2K than 98.

It also depends on your Video Card. If you have an ATI, defininitely run Win98SE for games.

I agree, dualboot 98SE and Win2K. Unless you have limited diskspace then just run Win2K alone.

I find it amusing how everyone hates ME for no apparent reason. Yes, I hate the faster boot time, better GUI colors, and better stability.

Personally, use either ME or 98SE, both will run fine. But ME has features that 98SE doesn't, I personally like it over 98SE.

If you primarily use your computer for gaming then there's no real reason to use Win2k. Unless you feel like rebooting to be able to play games well, which I doubt you do.
