Win2k and Dells TrueMobile Utility

I know that Win2K doesn't have a native wireless software built-in like XP and this is causing a problem for me as the TrueMobile software Utility isn't detecting the network I want to connect to. Is there any sort of software I could use or does Win2k have any addons? Or am I stuck with installing XP?

Regarding detecting the network, I'm sure that the winxp's software won't detect it either but after manually entering the SSID, the computer can actually connect to the network. I saw this first hand on another machine. Not sure what the problem is with the TrueMobile Utility.
