Okay how to make this problem of mine clear....lets see i had a dual booting win98/linux...upgraded to win2000 ntfs...so now everytime i boot i get a message that bootmagic.img (or something) is missing and it wants me to run bootmagic...well bootmagic only works if the drive has a fat or fat32 partition on it..since i am using ntfs...it wont install...is there a way that I can remove that message??? is there a file link to it or something...BTW I tried installing partition magic and create a small fat32 partition just to install bootmagic but for some reason everytime that i hit apply changes and the system reboots...nothing happens!! it just boots as normal!!! PLZ help...if people need more clearification..just ask..lol

You have to set the FAT32 partition as a Primary partition in order to get BootMagic to work. Assuming you have PartitionMagic as well as BootMagic, create a small (~250MB) FAT32 partition, and set it as a primary partition. It'll probably give you the message that having another primary partition may cause problems, but let it create that partition. You should then be able to reinstall BootMagic to that partition, and set it up to load either Win2k or Linux from the BootMagic menu.

[Edit]You're probably going to have to reinstall BootMagic to get it to work.[/Edit]

Hope this helps!
