Win2K and boot disk

i want to flash my CUSL2 and according to the website, i need to create a boot disk to run and copy files onto. how do you make a boot disk in Win2K.

i've tried format a:/s in command prompt but that doesn't work. i'm lost. 🙁

Why not just use a win98 Bootdisk?

i thought that if you used a win9x boot disk, then it would only recognize FAT32 drives and not the NTSC ones that NT and Win2K uses. but i will try the Win2K CD

NTFS...

If you just copy AFLASH.EXE and 1003.bin to the boot disk, then there is no need to access the hard drives at all.

It's best to use a clean Win9x boot disk.

I believe that what you are confused over is the boot disk's function.
It is to get you into dos, not windows. Yes, you will not be able to format NTFS with a W98 boot. But can change to NTFS later.
You can use fdisk, etc to prepare for installing an os and copy files but not to an NTFS partition.
That is why it is suggested to use the CD of W2K, which allows this.

As Andy said, no need to go near the hard drive when flashing the bios...just get a generic boot disk at www.bootdisk.com (or a win98 boot disk if you already have one)
