I am currently running Win2k with service pack 1, and when ever I shut down windows, my computer will not shut down automatically. And not only that, I have to hold the power button down for 4 seconds to turn off the power, even though it is set to instant power-off in my BIOS.
I have a Aopen AX6BC pro M/B and I recently just flashed it from R1.02 to R1.12.
The 4-sec off problem occured only after I flashed my M/b, but the Auto-off problem has occured ever since I installed win2k.

Can anyone help me out here?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Check out your other post (I think in the Cases and Cooling forum). I responded there. :)

Enable APM in the Power Options under Control Panel.

Also enable APM and/or ACPI in your BIOS.
