Win2K/98SE Dual Boot Help

Basically, I've installed win98 on a seperate hard drive (D🙂 my Win2k machine and i want to dual boot.... I know I need to edit the Win2k boot.ini to recognize the Win98 install, but I'm unsure as to how I should go about doing this.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Under a normal dual boot scheme, you need both hard drives to be plugged in and running to take advantage of Win2K's dual boot menu properly, as both Win2K and Win98SE need to put their boot files in C:.

Although you can edit the boot menu to add an entry for Win98SE, it won't be able to boot it, since Win98SE's boot files are in the wrong place.

To install Win98SE after Win2K, please read the FAQ: How do I install Win9x AFTER Win2K?
