Hi everyone,

Is there any way to use more than 4 gigs of ram when using win/exchange 2003 32-bit ? Can't switch to 64bit os.

What about using Dual Opteron mobo's w/ NUMA support ?

Thanks for the help.

Regards,
Jose

I found some info stating that 2k3 enterprise supports 8gigs and datacenter supports 32gigs of ram..

Anyone have any server benchmarks comparing Xeon to Opterons ?

Wow, so you can buy new hardware but not a 64-bit OS. That's kind of wierd.

oh and your best solution:

4 64bit Quad-core CPU's + 64bit server 2003 R2 (+ any SP's) + 64bit Exchange 2007 + 16 (or more) GB RAM.

Done deal.

MS says you have to have 8 servers to run all the stuff they're runnnig on 2 right now(2 diff. locations).

Add all the CAL's and that up's the cost .. 100+ user's x CAL's for each server = not enough vasaline to make it bearable ... haha..
