Win2003 Enterprise File Sharing

Ive gotta few xp boxes which dont authenticate to this server, but need to access files that are one it through my new places but everytime they try to access the share it asks for username and pwd even though the shared resource should be/is available to anyone....how do i correct this?

"Available to anyone", I suspect you mean you set EVERYONE acls on the share and resources. EVERYONE refers to authenticated users and doesn't include guest users. You can either create an account on the server for the XP users to use, or enable the GUEST account and give it access to the share.
