Win2000 won't recognize my joystick

Hi, does anyone have an idea how to get Win2000 to show my Logitech Wingman Digital 3D joystick. I've installed SP1 and the latest drivers for my creative SB PCI512 card and the joystick. There are no conflicts in Device manager but the I/O address for the game port is shown as FFF8-FFFF or something like that. I think the stick needs a numbered I/O to be recognized but I haven't a clue on how to do this? Can anyone help. Thanks everyone.

make sure the pci sb is on a pci slot that doesnt share its irq, regardless of conflicts i would sugest checking this first. the third one usually works well(from the top). if that doesnt help head on over the the sticks tech forum.
