WIN2000 Standby & Hibernate probs

I have tried many version of the Nvidia drivers 5.13 >> 5.32, and everytime I try to use standby or hibernate I get the error message "your geforce 256 has prevented from windows going into standby, my mate has the same prob with his TNT Ultra Standby works perfectly with WIN98SE Please Help!!!!!!

That's weird. I have a GeForce and it has no problem standby-ing or hibernating either in Win2k or Win98SE using any drivers. What GeForce card do you have?

I also have the same problem with my TNT card even by using the default built-in drivers in win2k, though works fine in '98. However it doesn't seem as bad as the Hollywood Plus beta drivers... , eliminates all power-management options in win2k. Weirdly enough, the latest driver version for my hollywood plus in 98 causes my power management to break, but if I go one revision back it works fine.
