Win2000 Sp3 very soon!

SP3 RC was released on last week of May..

soon.. very soon .. i can't wait ! 😀 .. (SP3 adds the option to disable/uninstall MS bloated softwares, such as IE, WMP, Email, Java Machine.

Win2k w/ Netscape 7.0 .. ahh.. bringin back good old times !

I thought that was only in windows XP. I don't think they were going to do the app hiding thing (because thats all it really is) with 2k. windows XP SP1 is the service pack that does that.

The app hiding thing has been included in Win2k SP3, but thats all it does is hide it. Hiding it yourself if just as easy, click on the IE icon on your desktop and hit Delete 😀

Hmm

heard i need new Product # for WinXP SP1 ..

does it mean i have to activate my copy AGAIN?? .. i might as well sell it now ;P

Read this for our experiences running the RC. I didnt have very good luck running it...

You shouldnt, they are just going to make the windows updates cease to work for people running XP Pro Corp. with a commonly pirated serial, or running the devils own cracked version. If you have a legit copy of XP Pro it should update just fine (like Win NT and 2K did).
