My brother did something with his registry to get rid of the start button delay time. He was using win 98 and I use win 2000 prof . I did what he did in win 2000 and messed up all my icons so i changed it back to before, but now some folders are constantly highlighted. How do I change the registry. Here is what my brother did:

1. start
2. run
3. type "regedit"
4. double click hkeycurrent user
5. double click control panel
6. double click desktop
7. click edit
8. new -> string value
9. name it "menushowdelay"
10. click on it so its highlighted
11. right click
12. modify value
13. make value as 1
(do it all over again with a new name)
14. click edit
15. new -> string value
16. name it "showmenudelay"
17. click on it so its highlighted
18. right click
19. modify value
20. make value as 1
