I am running Windows 2000 with wireless Netgear router to dsl modem.
Mozilla and IE web browsers and Mozilla email work fine, but Eudora, Quicken, and Turbo Tax can't connect.
With Turbo Tax I get the error messages: "WinInet version is not the expected version. Please make sure Internet Explorer 5.5 or newer is installed". and "Internet Client has not been successfully initialized"
It seems that the programs communicate only with Windows. It doesn't appear that it they are actually trying to connect to anything.
