Win2000 Messes with my Favorites! How can I prevent this?

By "messes with" I mean that When I click on the FAVORITES pull-down in IE I first get a short list, and I have to click on the last entry to expand it fully. This is similar to the way menus in Office 2000 behaved. The strange part is that it just started doing this. For the longest time it presented the favorites just as it had under W98. This "feature" is rather annoying for anyone with sufficient monitor space.

Is there a way to disable any pull downs from being "optimised" in this way?

Go to Internet Options (either in the control panel or via "tools" on the IE toolbar or by right clicking the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop and selecting properties). Select the Advanced tab, deselect "Enable Personalized Favorites Menu" close your browser(if it was open), (re)open IE and you'll be good to go.

Right on the money

It's the little things that make the difference!!

I'd kiss you if you weren't so ugly 🙂
